Gibson Les Paul Deluxe 1976 – Heritage Cherry Sunburst

This Gibson Les Paul Deluxe from 1976, made in the USA, is a fantastic example of an early-to-mid 1970s Deluxe in excellent overall condition. The guitar features all the typical specifications of this era, including the large “Les Paul” headstock decal, a slim 3-piece maple neck, classic pancake mahogany body construction, and original Gibson Pat. No. mini humbuckers.

Unlike many Les Paul Deluxe guitars from the 1970s, this example does not require so-called “goof rings” around the pickups, as the original routing was clean and accurately done. Overall build quality is very good, which is not always a given for Gibson instruments from this period.

Considering its age (approx. 50 years), the condition is excellent. The guitar shows only light, honest playwear and is in outstanding cosmetic and technical shape. The original frets are slightly lower and flatter than modern standards and show visible wear.

The instrument has been professionally set up using a PLEK machine for optimal playability. However, due to individual preferences regarding fret profile and material, a refret will eventually be recommended for players who want to get the most out of this guitar. The cost of a refret is already included in the asking price, allowing the future owner to choose their preferred fret type.

The guitar comes with its original Gibson hard shell case, which is also in very good condition.
