A 1959 Fender Vibrolux in outstanding condition, and—most importantly—an absolutely great-sounding example. Big, warm tweed cleans, rich harmonic overdrive when you lean into it, and that touch-sensitive, dynamic “alive” feel that only a real late-’50s Fender delivers.

It’s been properly serviced and is ready to be played: electrolytic capacitors have been replaced (recap), and it’s fitted with a safe 3-prong power cord. The tone circuit still retains the original Astron “Yellow” signal caps—the legendary part of that classic tweed voice.

Transformers: the power transformer is original, the speaker is original, and the output transformer was replaced a long time ago with a quality Mojotone unit—stable, reliable, and sonically right in the tweed zone.
