Fender Precision Bass Custom Shop 1964

Fender Custom Shop Precision Bass in relic sparkle green, inspired by a 1964 spec.
To me, it feels and sounds extremely similar to my ’64 P in Lake Placid Blue. Given the build and overall construction, the tone is impressively close. Naturally, the Custom Shop has its own signature midrange presence — that’s part of the package — but overall it’s still very, very near to the real thing.
The action is comfortable, it’s fitted with flatwounds, and it truly sounds like a dream.
