Fender Precision Bass 1971

For sale is a beautiful 1971 Fender Precision Bass, made in the USA during the early-’70s Fender era.

This is an original vintage Precision Bass with fantastic natural wear and beautiful real mojo. The bass has aged honestly over the years, with a naturally worn-in look that gives it huge character and stage presence. It feels like a proper old Fender — resonant, comfortable, familiar and full of personality.

The instrument appears original and correct for the period. The potentiometer codes are not clearly readable, so I cannot confirm the pot date codes, but the bass presents as an original 1971 example. It comes with a case included.

Most importantly, this is a great player. It delivers the classic vintage Precision Bass sound: warm, punchy, direct and powerful, with strong low end, clear note definition and unmistakable old Fender character.
