Fender Precision Bass 1964 Lake Placid Blue

What can I say…
My biggest dream has just come true. I’ve always dreamed of owning a ’60s “pre-CBS” in Lake Placid Blue. This one is all original, it had a refret done by the previous owner, and I can honestly say it’s the perfect pre-CBS bass. Weight is under 3.9 kg, and it has the lowest string action I’ve ever had on a ’50s/’60s/’70s pre-CBS. It’s unbelievable. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood — dark, with a thick slab, and in great condition.

I’ve spent some time with this bass and I’m absolutely in love with it. I believe the next owner will be blown away. This is the kind of bass that lets you stop searching — with this budget, you really don’t need to look any further. Extremely rare color, low weight, amazing action — it’s 100% a player with gorgeous mojo, and also a true collector’s piece. Small crack arround E string as it used to be. It comes with the original 60s Fender case.
