Ampeg B-15NF 1967 – 35W

A wonderful amp. It has an Electro-Voice speaker (not original, but period-correct) and it sounds absolutely phenomenal.

Service / work done:

removed the “death cap”, addressed the polarity circuit, and removed the high-voltage setup in the speaker cable
replaced electrolytic capacitors (5 pcs.), resistors, and rebuilt the bias circuit
removed the old dusty insulation and installed new foam damping inside the cabinet
light cosmetic work: exterior cleaning
cleaned the pots
tubes measured and tested; bias set (new resistor and capacitor); tubes burned in
one new pilot light under the plexi logo; the second one is original and working
