For sale is a rare 1984 Fender Elite II Precision Bass, made in the USA and finished in the highly distinctive Stratoburst finish.
The Elite II Precision Bass was one of Fender’s most advanced bass designs of the early 1980s, combining classic Fender feel with modern features and expanded tonal possibilities. This model features the unique dual Precision-style pickup configuration, active electronics and the high-mass Elite bridge, giving it a powerful, clear and very versatile sound.
The Stratoburst finish gives this bass a striking and unmistakably ’80s Fender look, especially with the maple neck and white pickguard. It has a strong stage presence and a very cool collector appeal, while still being a serious player’s instrument.
The bass is fully working and ready to play. It delivers a wide range of tones: deep and punchy Precision-style low end, added clarity and definition from the dual pickup layout, and the strong, articulate response associated with the Elite series.
