Fender Precision Bass 1969 – Olympic White

For sale is a very cool 1969 Fender Precision Bass, made in the USA during the late-’60s Fender era.

This bass has an old refinish. The original factory color is unknown to me — this is exactly how I bought the instrument. The refinish appears to be an older one and gives the bass a great vintage look and character.

Apart from the refinish, the bass appears to be original. I have not been able to clearly read the pot codes, so I cannot confirm those numbers, but the rest of the instrument looks correct and original for the period. It comes with a case included.

Most importantly, this is a fantastic player. It has the classic vintage Precision Bass sound: big, warm, punchy and direct, with that unmistakable old Fender authority. A great instrument for stage, studio or collection, especially for someone looking for a real late-’60s Precision Bass with genuine vintage character.
