Fender Deluxe TWEED 1957

A 1957 Fender Tweed Deluxe (5E3) that absolutely delivers: fat, woody cleans, that famous midrange growl, and the most addictive, touch-sensitive overdrive when you turn it up. It’s one of those amps that makes you play differently—in the best way.

This one has been properly serviced and is ready to be played: it’s had a full electrolytic cap replacement (recap) and a safe 3-prong power cord. The output transformer has been replaced with a new unit, and the speaker is currently a vintage Jensen C12NA from the 1960s—an excellent match for a 5E3, with great clarity and that classic American punch. Of course original speaker Jensen Alnico P10r is added.

Only two signal capacitors have been replaced; the rest of the components are original, which is exactly what you want in a player-grade vintage Deluxe.

Cosmetically: at some point the tweed was painted black. The paint has partly come off, and you can see the story and character of the amp underneath—tons of mojo, honest vintage vibe, and still a killer collectible.
